Richard Woollard

Richard Woollard is a Technical Director for Ports at Aurecon, a position held since January 2007, where responsibilities have included marine and civil structural engineering, client representation on major construction projects, and leading teams in complex studies and design projects. Notable projects include large bulk material handling terminals, ferry terminals, and shipyards, with a recent focus on green hydrogen export. Prior to Aurecon, Richard worked as a Marine Engineer at Royal HaskoningDHV from October 2010 to July 2011, handling planning and feasibility studies as well as the detailed design of various marine facilities, including managing multidisciplinary inputs for an alumina export terminal prefeasibility study in Africa. Richard Woollard holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Civil Engineering with Advanced Studies from Griffith University, completed in 2006.
