Robert Huizinga has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Robert currently serves as the Executive Vice President of Corporate Development at Aurinia Pharmaceuticals. Prior to their current position, they held various leadership roles at Kane Biotech Inc., Aurinia Pharmaceuticals Inc., Innovotech Inc., and EQUIP. Robert also served as the Board Chair at Sturgeon Valley Baptist Church from 2011 to 2013. In their role as Vice President of Clinical Affairs at Isotechnika Pharma Inc., they were responsible for the clinical development of the company's products. Robert Huizinga has a wealth of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, and has demonstrated their leadership and managerial skills through their various roles at different organizations.

Robert Huizinga has a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Regent University, an MSc in Medicine: Epidemiology from the University of Alberta, and National Certification in Nephrology from the CNA. Robert is also a Registered Nurse (RN) from the University of Alberta.
