Andrew Luna is the current Executive Director of Decision Support and Institutional Research at Austin Peay State University. Prior to their current position, Luna served as the Director of Institutional Research at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College from July 2017 to July 2018. Andrew was also the Director of Institutional Research, Planning, and Assessment at the University of North Alabama from August 2007 to June 2017. Luna's experience also includes serving as the Director of Institutional Research and Planning at the University of West Georgia from August 1999 to July 2007, and as a Research Analyst III in Institutional Research at the University of Louisville from January 1997 to July 1999. Prior to their work in higher education, Luna was the Assistant Director of Research and Public Relations for Housing and Residential Resources at The University of Alabama from March 1985 to December 1996.
Andrew Luna has a Ph.D in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from The University of Alabama, a Master's degree in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from The University of Alabama, and a Master's degree in Journalism from The University of Alabama. Andrew also has a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from The University of Alabama.
They are on a team with Prentice Chandler - Dean, Eriksson College of Education, Gerald Harrison - Director, Athletics, and Shelia Bryant - Director, Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action. Andrew Luna reports to Dannelle Whiteside, Interim President.
