Samuel Thomson serves as the Venue and Government Partnerships Manager for the Australian Football League in New South Wales since July 2021, having previously held the position of Infrastructure Manager for Greater Sydney. Prior experience includes the role of Departmental Liaison Officer with the NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment, where Samuel worked with the NSW Minister for Local Government. Additionally, Samuel was a Government Relations Adviser for the National Rugby League and served as a Policy and Legislation Adviser for Rebekha Sharkie MP in the Parliament of Australia. Educational qualifications include a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from Leo Cussen Centre for Law, a Graduate Certificate in Analytics from RMIT University, and an exchange semester at Université Laval, alongside completing secondary education at Scotch College Adelaide.
