Kavitha Manivel has a strong background in software engineering and management. Kavitha is currently a Senior Software Engineering Manager at Ford Motor Company since 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Software Engineering Manager at Autonomic from 2022, where they were responsible for software development and delivery related to accounts and identity management for the Transportation Mobility Cloud (TMC). Before that, they were an L3 Engineering Manager at Aeris Communications from 2017 to 2022, leading a global team responsible for supporting and fixing live customer issues on the device platform and mobile applications.

Kavitha also has extensive experience at Ericsson, where they held multiple roles including Sr Engineering Manager in DevOps, Head of Development Tools and Analytics, Sr Engineering Manager - I&V and System Test, and Engineering Manager, from 2010 to 2017. Kavitha'sresponsibilities included overseeing DevOps processes, leading development tools and analytics operations, managing system tests, and leading engineering teams. Prior to their tenure at Ericsson, Kavitha worked as a Sr Software Engineer / Project Lead at Redback Networks from 2002 to 2009, where they were responsible for testing and automating broadband subscriber functionalities.

Early in their career, Kavitha worked as a Consultant at Software Pundits Inc in 2000 and 2001.

Kavitha Manivel has a Master's degree in Computer Science from B. M. S. College of Engineering. Kavitha also holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Dr. Ambedkar Institute Of Technology. In addition to their formal education, Kavitha has obtained several certifications including Agile Product Owner from the International Scrum Institute™, Ericsson Leadership Core Curriculum from Ericsson, and Scrum Master from the International Scrum Institute™.
