Farid Bassiri

Farid Bassiri is the current Chief Risk Officer at Autonomy Capital. Prior to this role, they served as a Portfolio Manager at both Autonomy Capital and Brevan Howard. Mr. Bassiri has over fifteen years of experience in the financial industry and has a deep knowledge of risk management. Farid is a graduate of the University of London and holds an MBA from INSEAD.

Farid Bassiri received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Applied Science from Caltech and a Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics from Harvard University.

They work with Craig Welter - CCO, Head of Legal and Compliance, Derek Goodman - Partner and Chief Strategic Officer, and David Cuddihy - CTO. Their manager is Robert Gibbins, Partner, Founder and Chief Investment Officer.
