Paolo Guggiari

Paolo Guggiari serves as the Global Head of Securities Operations at Avaloq, a position held since December 2004, and also holds the role of Head of Service Management for Switzerland and Liechtenstein, as well as being a member of the ASSL Executive Board. With a background that includes general management of Swiss Banking Operations and significant project management experience, Paolo has overseen operations involving up to 260 employees and has delivered optimal results in efficiency, financials, and service quality. Previous experience includes roles at Banca del Gottardo as Associate Director and at Citi as Assistant Vice President in project management, where Paolo led initiatives that resulted in significant cost savings across global operations. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the University of San Diego, a Project Management Professional certification, and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Höhere Technische Lehranstalt.
