Aneta Ferguson

Aneta Ferguson joined Avanir Pharmaceuticals in January 2015 and her current role is Vice President, General Counsel. Under her leadership, the Legal Department is responsible for counseling Avanir Pharmaceuticals on FDA regulatory matters, product life cycle management, drafting and negotiating commercial and government contracts, employment law, corporate transactions and governance.

Prior to joining Avanir Pharmaceuticals, Aneta worked with the law firm Latham & Watkins LLP. From 2010 to 2015, she served as corporate counsel to a variety of public and private companies, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, securities matters and general corporate advice.
