Mary Barakat

Mary Barakat has extensive experience in business development and financial services, currently serving as Manager of Business Development Programs at Avantax Wealth Management since November 2012. In this role, Mary oversees the onboarding of new financial advisors and assists with transitions and compliance processes. Previous positions include Regional Director and Senior Business Development Consultant at Avantax Wealth Management, as well as roles at HD Vest Financial Services and Noble Royalties, where Mary focused on qualifying financial advisors and managing broker-dealer relations. Mary also has a background in marketing and internal sales, having worked with companies such as Old Mutual and Jackson National. Mary holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design from the University of North Texas.
