Technology company Avaya has appointed Stephen Spears to the newly created role of Chief Revenue Officer. Mr Spears will be added to the company’s executive management team, with responsibility for revenue strategy, performance and alignment. He will report to President and CEO Jim Chirico.

Mr. Spears comes to Avaya from a 17-year stint at SAP, most recently as Chief Revenue Officer of SAP SuccessFactors. He has nearly 30 years of experience in management, including expertise in go-to-market, SaaS and Cloud areas.
