About

As Director of Sports Performance, Christie provides leadership and expertise in the areas of strength and conditioning, coaching and athlete development, and the testing and evaluation of athletes. In this capacity, Christie works closely with company leadership in developing the Avolve Sports Platform, from design and ease of use to functionality and best practice protocols. She is also responsible for working with coaches and athletes on platform adoption and implementation, utilization strategies, content creation and helping to shape short and long-term company initiatives.


Prior to Avolve Sports, Christie spent several years at Whoop, where she focused on operations and customer success for the rapidly growing sports technology company. Prior to Whoop, Christie spent 8 years as a Division 1 Strength and Conditioning Coach, serving in roles of increasing responsibility at the University of South Carolina and University of Maryland, and as the Assistant Director of Strength and Conditioning at Florida A&M University, working with athletes across multiple sports including, Baseball, Softball, Volleyball, Women’s Basketball, Men’s and Women’s Tennis and Women’s Soccer. She holds a Master of Science in Exercise Science and certifications in CSCS and SCCC.


Outside of work, you can find Christie spending time outdoors with her husband Seth, daughter Erin, and son Jacob as well as their 3 dogs. When they are not out hiking or exploring as a family, Christie is in her garage either woodworking or weightlifting.
