David Daw

David Daw is a seasoned professional in internal auditing with a comprehensive background spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Chief Internal Auditor at Hargreaves Lansdown since November 2017, David also holds the position of Independent Joint Audit Committee Chairman for Avon and Somerset Constabulary since March 2019. Previous roles include Head of Audit at TSB Bank, Deputy Director of Group Internal Audit at Friends Life Group, and Head of Internal Audit for both AXA UK and AXA Life Insurance. Additionally, David has experience as Head of Audit at BAE Systems and Audit Manager at Ernst & Young. A graduate of the University of Southampton, David earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy and Economics.
