Louise Scott is the Group Vice President, Research & Development and Chief Scientific Officer at Avon. Before taking on this role, Louise was with Avon Cosmetics Ltd and P&G Beauty London Innovation Centre, where they led innovation for Procter and Gamble's skin and cosmetics businesses. During their time at P&G, Louise and their team developed highly successful products such as Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara and Olay Regenerist 3 point treatment Serum.

More recently, Louise was the R&D Leader on a major strategic initiative into a newly identified $2Bn+ global market opportunity which led to the creation of a new business unit. Additionally, they have also led a site cultural renewal effort, resulting in a more cohesive and productive community, as well as a 25% improvement in employee satisfaction.

Dr. Louise Scott has a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of Cambridge, and a Masters in Inorganic Chemistry (Distinction) and Chemistry & Mathematics (Distinction) from the University of Cape Town. Dr. Scott matriculated with straight A's from Westerford High School.
