Rob Schoorl

Rob Schoorl is a seasoned professional in waste management and resource recovery, currently serving as Senior Project Manager for Energy & Residues at AVR since April 2023. Prior experience includes roles such as Program Manager for Mineralz & Water at Renewi Nederland from September 2021 to March 2023, and Manager of Mineralz from October 2017 to September 2021, focusing on the production of high-quality secondary raw materials and the sustainable processing of contaminated wastewater. Earlier, Rob held various managerial positions at Van Gansewinkel, overseeing mineral activities and operations related to waste separation and upgrading, as well as logistics and recycling of hazardous materials. Rob's career began at Van Vliet Groep as Operation Manager, managing both hazardous and non-hazardous waste operations. Rob holds a degree in Chemistry from Radboud University, completed in 1989, and graduated with a VWO diploma from St.-Willibrord Gymnasium.
