Penny Allum

Penny Allum has extensive experience in career development and apprenticeship programs, currently serving as the Early Careers Lead - Apprenticeships at AWE since November 2023. Previously, Penny held the position of Apprenticeship Scheme Coordinator (South) at STFC, part of UKRI, from August 2020 to November 2023, alongside a role as Graduate and Student Programmes Adviser. Earlier career roles include Careers Leader at The Downs School Compton from September 2011 to August 2020, Clerk to the Governing Body at Thatcham Park C Of E Primary School, and Test Coordinator at GILLETTE MANAGEMENT LLC. Additional experience includes an administrator role at British Airways and teaching at Cornwall Council. Penny's education includes a BA (Hons) with Qualified Teacher Status in History from University College, Scarborough, and various qualifications in careers leadership and guidance.
