Steven R. Markevich

Steven R. Markevich is the EVP & President, Transportation Coatings & Greater China at Axalta. Prior to this role, Markevich served as the Senior Vice President & President, Transportation Coatings at Axalta Coating Systems from June 2013 to October 2015. Before joining Axalta, Markevich was the CEO of GKN Driveline from October 2012 to June 2013. Steven has also held the position of President and CEO of GKN Sinter Metals from July 2010 to October 2012, and President, North American Operations from October 2007 to September 2010. In addition, Markevich served as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at GKN from March 2007 to February 2008, and as the Vice President Sales, Marketing, Program Engineering at Siegel-Robert Automotive from January 2005 to December 2007. Steven began their career at Guardian Automotive, where they served as the Vice President Sales, Marketing and Program Management from January 2002 to December 2004, and as the Vice President Operational Planning from January 1998 to December 2002.

Steven R. Markevich has a BBA from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business in Finance, Economics, and Accounting. Steven is certified by the State of Michigan as a CPA and by the American Production & Inventory Control Society (APICS) as Certified in Production & Inventory Management (CPIM).
