Public safety technology and equipment manufacturer Axon, has announced the addition of Adriane Brown to its Board of Directors. Axon's Board formally voted to extend an offer to Brown last week after a comprehensive search. Her appointment became effective on May 30, 2020.
Commenting on the addition of Brown to the Board of Directors, Axon CEO and founder, Rick Smith, said, "Adriane's contribution to our Board of directors will be invaluable. Adriane has a history of stellar leadership at major innovative companies across industries that include aerospace, automotive and technology. We welcome her guidance on how to continue to expand our business globally and work towards our mission of protecting life."
Brown brings more than 30 years and a wide array of senior leadership experience to the Axon Board. Brown currently serves as a Board member at eBay and was a Board member at Raytheon until earlier this year. In addition, Brown previously served in leadership roles at Honeywell as well as Corning, and will look to her experience at both to help advise the team at Axon.
