Thierry Goniva

Thierry Goniva is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in medical devices and technology innovation. Currently serving as Director of Engineering for Medical Devices at Azenta Life Sciences since March 2024, Thierry oversees the development of the group's medical devices following a reorganization of Global Engineering. As Chief Technology Officer at B Medical Systems since August 2022, Thierry leads R&D efforts for products related to medical refrigeration, blood management, and pharmaceuticals. Previous roles include Director of Strategy, Innovation, and Marketing, as well as Head of Accelerator, at IEE Sensing, where focus was placed on the e-mobility and EV battery market. Thierry began the career as a Research Assistant at ETH Zürich, where work centered on algorithms for Uninterruptable Power Supply control. Thierry holds a Dipl. El.-Ing. ETH in Electrical Engineering from ETH Zürich.
