Santonu Goswami

Santonu Goswami is an Associate Professor at Azim Premji University since December 2021 and serves as an Editorial Board member for Climate Action at Springer Nature Group. As the Founder and Director of the Community Climate Lab, also established in December 2021, Santonu contributes significantly to climate action initiatives. In the role of IUCN CEM South Asia representative from November 2021 to January 2025, Santonu is involved in biodiversity and ecosystem management. Previous experience includes positions at ISRO and various research and teaching roles at institutions such as New York University and Oak Ridge National Laboratory, where Santonu focused on environmental data analysis and climate change research. The educational background includes a Ph.D. in Environmental Science & Engineering from The University of Texas at El Paso, along with advanced certifications in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
