Akriti Gandotra is the Head of Supply Chain Management at [Azure Power](/org/azure-power). Prior to this, they worked as an associate at a law firm for five years, where they gained experience in private equity investment and general corporate advisory. Akriti also spent time working as a retainer for Manupatra, a leading law research database, and as an associate for S&R Associates and Ritin Rai, Senior Advocate at the Supreme Court of India.

Kapil brings with him 14 years of extensive global experience in the solar energy sector. Prior to joining [Azure Power](/org/azure-power), he was associated with [Fortum](/org/fortum) Solar India Private Limited and was instrumental for its success in India, while leading technology team experts in India and Finland. While in [Fortum](/org/fortum), he was also responsible for various greenfield/brownfield projects development in Eastern Europe, Russia, and Finland. Prior to this, he worked with the ETA Ascon group to establish its EPC arm for utility-scale solar power plants. He has also been associated with CSEM-UAE Innovation Center, a non-profit joint venture company of Swiss Center for Electronics and Microtechnology and Ras Al Khaimah Investment Authority in Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) - United Arab Emirates (UAE).


Kapil Kumar

R Narasimhan Iyer has over 30 years of experience in business operations, strategic execution, power transmission, distribution, metering & renewable energy generation space. He holds deep experience in energy sector technologies and a robust understanding of energy policies, strategies, institutions, and regulations. He served as Director Operations at SB Energy (SoftBank Group) and has also worked with companies like SunEdison, Schneider Electric, Secure Meters, IBM, and ABB in various roles like roles and capacities.

He holds a degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani, and a Gold Medallist in Post Graduate Diploma in International Business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi.

R Narasimhan Iyer

Vikas has 14 years of experience in structured and project finance, risk management in infrastructure sectors with focus on renewable energy during the last decade. He has been a part of the Capital team at [Azure Power](/org/azure-power) during last 2 years, managing foreign debt providers and M&A transactions. Prior to [Azure Power](/org/azure-power), Vikas served as Group Executive Vice President, Corporate Finance at YES Bank. Vikas was instrumental in YES BANK’s leadership in Renewable Energy finance and Policy Advocacy. He also worked with ICICI Bank in the credit risk management team.

Vikas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Hons) from Sri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University and an MBA in International Business from Dept. of Commerce, Delhi University.

Christine has extensive global experience of more than 25 years in leading blue chip energy companies. She has held senior leadership positions across E&P upstream, power, electricity transmission, and telecommunications sectors. Her India energy experience entailed working with PowerGen Plc and BG Group Plc. 

Christine McNamara

Supriya Prakash Sen has over 30 years of experience in banking, private equity, capital markets and multilateral funding and investment as well as a significant involvement in sustainability initiatives globally and in India. Currently a Senior Advisor with Mckinsey & Co, she also serves as independent director for firms and non-profits in Asia where her emphasis has been on strategy, governance and fund-raising. As strategy consultant she has advised clients in South East Asia, South Asia and China on innovative financing, policy and strategy development in transport, energy, urban and sustainable finance projects. She has also worked on differentiated funding models for enabling private investment into green infrastructure. 
 
Previously, she worked as a private equity investor and project finance banker on climate-smart transactions in energy, mobility, telecom, urban & water, social infrastructure, and banking sectors in India, China, South East Asia and Middle East, and in advisory and investment roles within Public Private Partnership (PPP) infrastructure projects for banks and financial institutions such as Citigroup Global Markets, [Asian Development Bank](/org/asian-development-bank), and the World Bank Group.
 
Ms. Sen holds an honours undergraduate degree in engineering from Bangalore University and an MBA from [Indian Institute of Management Calcutta](/org/indian-institute-of-management-calcutta). Jane Lun Leung has extensive experience as a professional in the financial services sector, particularly in accounting, auditing, taxation, corporate secretarial and administration, of the United Kingdom & Mauritius. Previously she has worked with Ascough Ward Chartered Accountants, Kingston Marks Chartered Certified Accountants and Deloitte & Touche across various sectors including financing, trading, manufacturing, property, construction, engineering & PPP projects, telecommunication, mining, gaming & hospitality. She also sits on the board of several global business companies.

Muhammad Khalid Peyrye heads the Corporate Secretarial and Administration cluster of AAA Global Services Ltd.  Mr. Peyrye has been involved as a Money Laundering Reporting Officer and Compliance officer of various companies involved in the financial services sector. He has worked for several years with a leading financial services company and accountancy firm and has extensive experience on company formations, company administration, corporate secretarial services, cross-border investment activities and corporate organizational transactions such as mergers and acquisitions. He also serves as a director on the board of several companies in Mauritius.

Muhammad Khalid Peyrye

Cyril Cabanes is the Vice-President, Head of Infrastructure Transactions, Asia-Pacific at [Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec](/org/caisse-de-depot-et-placement-du-quebec) (CDPQ). He has over 19 years of experience across all facets of infrastructure transactions including acquisitions, financing and fundraising. This includes his term at Marubeni Corp., where he led the Asian IPP investment team in Singapore. Previously, Cyril was Director and Portfolio Manager at [Deutsche Bank](/org/deutsche-bank), where he was responsible for acquisitions, capital raising and product development for Asia-Pacific. Deepak Malhotra is Director, Infrastructure, South Asia at [Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec](/org/caisse-de-depot-et-placement-du-quebec) (CDPQ). He has over 18 years of experience across all facets of infrastructure. Before joining CDPQ in 2018, Mr. Malhotra worked with [International Finance Corporation](/org/international-finance-corporation) (IFC), World Bank Group, where he led many debt and equity investments in the infrastructure sector. Prior to IFC, Mr. Malhotra worked with one of the leading credit rating agencies in India and in the Merchant Navy. Delphine Voeltzel has joined the Board in May, 2022, as Nominee Director appointed by [OMERS](/org/omers) Infrastructure. Delphine brings over 13 years of professional experience in banking and private equity in the infrastructure sector across Europe and Asia. She is currently the Managing Director of [OMERS](/org/omers) Infrastructure in Asia, and she is responsible for originating and executing new transactions in Asia and managing the existing investment portfolio. Previously, Delphine was responsible for investing on behalf of [OMERS](/org/omers) across the European energy, utilities and renewables value chain. Prior to joining [OMERS](/org/omers) in 2012, Delphine worked in investment banking at Rothschild in London, where she was advising corporates and financial investors on M&A transactions in the utilities, transport and infrastructure sectors. Gaurang Sethi is the Head of Bidding at [Azure Power](/org/azure-power). Prior to joining [Azure Power](/org/azure-power), they worked as the Team Leader for Renewable Energy at Carbon Credit Capital and as an Intern for Filsinger Energy Partners. Gaurang also served as an [Environmental Defense Fund](/org/environmental-defense-fund) Fellow at Caterpillar Inc. 

Sethi has extensive experience in the renewable energy sector and has created a portfolio of offerings that include hybrid financial, advisory and intermediation services aimed at solar project developers operating in India, and renewable energy developers & financiers looking to deploy capital in Solar assets. Gaurang has also offered advisory services to projects ranging from the “conventional” renewable energy projects such as Solar PV, to the ambitious E-Waste recycling. 

Sethi’s work experience also includes power market and energy asset valuations. Gaurang has assessed US coal power plants, for factors like fixed and operating costs, capacity, age, environmental compliance, regional distribution and planned retirements to prepare market outlook.

Shweta Srivastava

Rupesh Agarwal brings over two decades of leadership experience in asset development and strategy consulting; advising leading utilities and private equity investors on developing and managing their cleantech investments. Rupesh is currently the acting Chief Executive Officer at Azure Power. 

Prior to Azure Power, he has held leadership positions at Convergence Energy Services; Government of India owned company; Lightsource India, BDO, & EY. He was also the founder of AEM Energi & Motum, a zero-emission electric mobility company which pioneered India’s first public electric bus trials under a wet lease model for urban utilities.

Rupesh holds a degree in Masters of Business Administration from Macquarie Graduate School of Management, (MGSM) Australia and has been featured as a Brand Ambassador for MGSM. Rupesh was also nominated as the Endeavour Award Ambassador for 2015-16 by the Australian High Commissioner to India. Sanjay Nagrare

Sumit has a strong track record of improving ESG performance of large-scale infrastructure projects.
At Azure, he leads the sustainability initiative of the company. He frequently interacts with lenders, consultants and other key stakeholders on ways to enhance sustainability and improving ESG performance of the company and leads implementation of such sustainability initiatives. He also heads the Health and Safety department and plays active role in CSR activities of the company.
Prior to joining Azure, as the Associate Director of Arcadis India, Sumit advised more than 5 GW renewable energy projects on meeting and exceeding their ESG targets. He also acted as the project director of Resettlement Action Plan and Social Impact Assessment including land acquisition support for implementation of the first High Speed Rail (Mumbai Ahmedabad) project in India.
Sumit is a Bachelor in Planning from School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi and has completed his M.B.A from K.J. Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research, Mumbai. Apart from this he has undertaken number of diploma / certification course on Health, Safety, Environment and Social aspect.

Alan Rosling is co-founder & director of ECube, a specialist in ESG advisory and climate finance in India. Mr. Rosling was earlier co-founder of Kiran Energy Solar Power and previously an Executive Director of Tata Sons Limited, where he was in charge of the Tata Group’s internationalization drive. Mr. Rosling was educated at Cambridge University and the Harvard Business School and in 2014 was awarded Commander of the British Empire (CBE).
