Chris Mansur

General Manager at Azzur Group

Chris Mansur is the current General Manager at Azzur Group. Prior to this, Chris was the Director of Validation at OPK Biotech from February 2010 to March 2013. Chris has a wealth of experience in managing restart & revalidation of API plants, relocation and requalification of analytical instruments, and creating/revamping various programs such as process-level failure mode, effects, and criticality analysis (FMECA), process monitoring, periodic cleaning monitoring, and revalidation/periodic review.

In addition, Chris oversaw key validation activities at aseptic filling CMO and supported FDA filings and follow-up inspectional questions/responses. Furthermore, Chris was responsible for revising the cleaning validation program to be risk-based, leveraging visual residue limits (VRLs) and visual clean baselines, and generating a cleaning validation master plan to improve facility inspection readiness. As a result of all these efforts, Chris was able to present the Validation program to EMA inspector in July 2012 with zero (0) validation-related observations.

Most recently, Chris has been focused on generating high-level dashboards and detailed Gantt charts for the launch of two commercial products in the US, EU, Russia, and South Africa. Chris facilitates team meetings and provides updates directly to the CEO. Under their leadership, the Azzur Group has seen significant growth and progress.

Chris Mansur holds a MBA from Boston College Carroll School of Management and a Bachelors of Science in BioMechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

They are on a team with Karl Karduck - Director, Azzur Chicago, Melissa Brookshier - Director, Azzur Denver, and Matt Weiss - CFO. Chris Mansur reports to Michael Khavinson, CEO.
