UX/UI Designer

As a UX/UI Designer at b.well, you’ll be responsible for carrying out user experience and user interface design implementation for our robust responsive application under the direction of our Design Director. You’ll work collaboratively within the Design team on defining the user experience of new sections of the application along with improving existing user flows and experiences. Using both data and empathy driven design, you’ll help design engaging and useful experiences for our users. You’ll be expected to interact closely with a variety of cross-functional partners such as product owners, content writers, clinical team, and development team to help b.well create the most user-friendly digital health platform in the market.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist in the execution of designing new product ideas and improvements utilizing data and user feedback to support decision making
  • Creation of system maps, UX flows, wireframes, low- and high-fidelity designs, and clickable prototypes for user testing
  • Apply branding themes to approved wireframes and prototypes
  • Ensure all digital experiences follow best practices with regard to accessibility, usability, and mobile optimization
  • Work with development teams to ensure accuracy of deliverables
  • Safeguard sensitive data by following policies and training concerning your security and privacy responsibilities

Notches In Your Belt:

  • Portfolio featuring examples of both UX and visual UI design work
  • An understanding of human-centered design with a demonstrated ability to apply strategic design thinking in support of digital products and services
  • Experience in working with sophisticated and large applications with high amounts of interaction, number of screens, and interrelated functionality
  • Experience with both native mobile and web applications
  • Experience with UX methodologies such as: creating system maps, annotated wireframes, low- and high-fidelity designs, and clickable prototypes
  • Experience in design tools such as: Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or Sketch
  • Ability to work both autonomously and within a team with direction

  • Experience designing for accessibility and inclusion
  • Experience with both web and mobile applications
  • Self-starter attitude
  • Ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality of work
  • Demonstration of animated UI
  • Notable user engagement/interaction experience
  • Experience working with and handing off assets to development teams
  • 2+ years of experience as a product designer, user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect, front end engineer or similar role
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant discipline (e.g., User Experience Design, Service Design, Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction)
