Sujoy Haldar

Sujoy Haldar is the current Chief Financial Officer at b8ta. Prior to this, they were the Global Head of Rides Finance at Uber from October 2015 to January 2020. Before that, they were the Vice President of Finance at Sears Canada from January 2009 to December 2015.

Sujoy started their career as a Summer Associate at Société Générale Corporate and Investment Banking in January 2006 and then became an Associate in Investment Banking at Bear, Stearns & Co., Inc. from January 2007 to December 2008. Sujoy then worked as a Private Equity Associate at Makan Capital Group from January 2008 to December 2008.

Sujoy Haldar has a MBA from Yale School of Management with a focus in finance and investment management. Sujoy is also a Chartered Financial Analyst from the CFA Institute. Their undergraduate degree is in mechanical engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani and they have a MS from Columbia Engineering in mechanical engineering.
