Alan Campos

Alan Campos is a software engineer who currently works at Babylist. Prior to their current position, they worked as a software engineer at Tone and CareerDean International.

At Tone, Campos worked on building a large scale React web application written in TypeScript. The application was divided into two modules, with the client module powering the UI and allowing users to join, create, and edit their profiles. The server module powered the APIs and provided the UI with data, as well as allowing CareerDean International to load the data into their CRM of choice. As the primary developer involved in the project, Campos was in charge of architecting and implementing the backend as well as the frontend.

At CareerDean International, Campos again worked on building a large scale React web application written in TypeScript. Alan was once again responsible for architecting and implementing the backend as well as the frontend.

Campos’ experience with large scale web applications has made him an expert in their field, and they are currently using their skills to work on Babylist’s own web application.

Alan Campos has a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Salem State University. Alan also has a Full Stack Web Development Certification from Free Code Camp and a Nanodegree in iOS Development from Udacity. Additionally, they have completed a course in Compilers: Theory and Practice from Udacity.

They are on a team with Jamie Alessio - Engineering Manager, Vivek Patel - Software Engineer, and John Terrill - Senior Software Engineer, Android. Alan Campos reports to TJ Moretto, VP of Engineering.
