Basil Merk

Basil Merk is an Associate Consultant at Bain & Company since August 2023 and previously held the position of Associate Consultant Intern at the same firm in 2022. As the Host of the On Fire Podcast since June 2023, Basil aims to foster self-awareness and leadership qualities. In addition, Basil was named a University Innovation Fellow by Stanford University's Hasso Plattner Institute of Design from October 2020 to May 2023 and served as the Founding President of RISE - Rising in Self Empowerment during the same period, focusing on personal development initiatives. Additional experience includes managing partnerships as the Director of Partnerships for Startup Weekend Silicon Valley WOMXN and working as a Sales Manager at Schwarz Werbung e.K. from June 2019 to August 2021. Basil holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Menlo College and continues studies at Stanford University.
