James Klenner

James Klenner, MSc, MPH, MPA, RBP, CBSP, currently serves as the Associate Director of Research Integrity and Biological & Lab Safety Officer at Ball State University, a position held since November 2018, where responsibilities include IBC and IACUC administration. As the owner of Midwest Biosafety Consultants, LLC since 2006, James has also contributed to ABSA International as Council Member and Treasurer from October 2015 to October 2019. Previous roles include Vice President of the Whiteland Town Council and President of the IUPUI Staff Council, along with serving as Biological Safety Manager and Biosafety Officer at IUPUI and RLR VA Medical Center, respectively. Academic qualifications encompass an MSc in Infectious Diseases and Microbiology from the University of Pittsburgh, an MPH in Public Health, and an MPA in Public Administration with a Health Administration Certificate from West Virginia University, as well as a BS in Biology from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown.
