Wajih Ahmed

Wajih Ahmed is a Portfolio Manager specializing in macro investment strategies at Balyasny Asset Management L.P. since November 2025. Prior to this role, Wajih held various positions at Goldman Sachs from June 2015 to July 2025, including Vice President and Associate in the Inflation Trading team, as well as Analyst and Campus Ambassador, gaining experience across multiple trading desks such as Interest Rate Products, FX Options, Emerging Markets, Equity Derivatives, and Credit Trading. Educationally, Wajih obtained a Master of Science in Finance and Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Actuarial Science from the University of Southampton.
