Rizwan Ata currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer and President of BankIslami Pakistan Limited, a role held since 2023. Previously, Rizwan held significant leadership positions in prominent banking institutions, including Group Head of Islamic Banking at Bank Alfalah Limited from 2013 to 2018 and Group Head of Branch Network and SME/Commercial Business at Meezan Bank Limited from 2002 to 2012. Rizwan’s earlier experience also includes serving as the First Group Chief of Islamic Banking at Allied Bank Limited from 2012 to 2013. Rizwan completed a Master of Business Administration at Lahore University of Management Sciences from 2007 to 2009.
