Basma Essam

Basma Essam has extensive experience in the financial and insurance sectors, currently serving as the Head of Sales Support and Alternative Channels at Bank Muscat since October 2015, where previous roles included Head of Distribution and Deputy Head of Bancassurance. Prior to this, Basma worked at Al Madina Insurance Company SAOG in various capacities, including Marketing Manager for corporate and reinsurance clients, Bancassurance Manager, and Deputy Manager for Customer Service and Affinity Schemes. Basma began a career in telecom sales at Jawad Sultan Technology in 2006. Academic credentials include an Engineer's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Caledonian College of Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Insurance from the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance, complemented by ACII qualifications from both BIBF and the Chartered Insurance Institute.
