Leonardo Matignas

Leonardo Matignas, Jr. is a distinguished author and retired partner of SGV & Co., a member firm of Ernst & Young, where they served as the first Chief Risk Officer and ASEAN Risk Management Leader until June 2022. With a robust academic background, including a Magna Cum Laude Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from San Sebastian College and a Master’s in Management from the University of Phoenix, they have earned multiple global certifications in accounting and risk management. Currently, they are the Lead Independent Director at Bank of Commerce and an independent director at Anchor Land Holdings, Inc., while also engaging in self-publishing and consultancy work. In 2023, they were recognized as one of the Top 100 Notable CPAs and continue to contribute to corporate governance through their writings and lectures.
