Reid Smith

Reid Smith is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Director of Fixed Income and Senior Portfolio Manager at Bank of Hawaii since August 2021. Prior to this role, Reid held positions at Stifel Financial Corp. as a Financial Advisor, where services included financial advisory and investment brokerage for institutional and high-net-worth clients. Additional experience includes serving as Chief Investment Officer for BPG Fixed Income Strategies at Ziegler Capital Management and as Head of Fixed Income Portfolio Management at Barclays. Earlier in the career, Reid worked as a Portfolio Manager at Lord Abbett and RBC Global Asset Management, and was a Principal and Senior Portfolio Manager at Vanguard, where responsibilities involved developing municipal bond fund strategies. Reid holds an MBA in International Business and a BBA in Marketing from the University of Hawai‘i - Shidler College of Business, as well as a background from Punahou School.
