Dr Chris Oduneye

Dr. Chris Oduneye currently serves as Managing Director and Global Head of Structured Products Trading and Client Solutions at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), the leading bank in the UAE, from October 2023. Prior to this role, Dr. Oduneye was Managing Director and Global Head of Credit Solutions at BBVA for a brief period from July 2023 to October 2023. From 2006 to 2021, Dr. Oduneye held various senior roles at Commerzbank AG, including Co-Head of Capital Markets Asia and Global Head of Credit Solutions. Earlier career experiences include positions as a Credit Quantitative Analyst at BNP Paribas, Equity Derivatives Trading at Lehman Brothers, and Fixed Income Repo & Quantitative Research at Lehman Brothers. Dr. Oduneye holds a Master of Science in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge and both a PhD and Bachelor of Science in Financial Mathematics and Mathematics from Imperial College London, respectively.
