Meshal Almutairi

Meshal Almutairi serves as the Executive Director of the UAE Government Sales Division at First Abu Dhabi Bank since October 2017, leading a team that specializes in sophisticated financial solutions including foreign exchange, derivatives, and custom hedging strategies. Additionally, Meshal is the Owner and CEO of Emirates Astronomical Observatory L.L.C since February 2020, focusing on the astronomy and space sectors. Previous experience includes serving as Associate Director in Corporate Sales at National Bank of Abu Dhabi from July 2014 to September 2017 and as a Risk Operations Analyst, handling collateral management and trade reconciliation. Meshal also held the position of Accounts Controller at the Department of Finance, overseeing governmental loans and projects in Abu Dhabi. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Finance from Abu Dhabi University and a combined Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the American University of Sharjah and Abu Dhabi University.
