Eduardo Salazar Gutierrez

Eduardo Salazar Gutierrez currently serves as Sub Director of AI/ML Development at Banregio, a position held since September 2025. Previously, Eduardo held the role of Sub Director of Innovation Projects and Sub Director of Hey Labs at Hey Banco from January 2020 to October 2025. Eduardo’s extensive career at Banregio began in January 2001, where roles included Sub Director of Innovation Projects, Business Architect, and Sub Director of Application Development, among others. Responsibilities spanned managing innovation projects, overseeing business architecture teams, and leading various system development projects in areas including electronic banking and credit operations. Eduardo earned a degree in Computer Sciences from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León between 1996 and 2001.
