Sophie Waskow Rifkin

Sr. Director, Sustainability at Banza

Sophie Waskow Rifkin is currently the Sr. Director of Sustainability at Banza, a role they have held since 2021. From 2008 to 2009, they were an Analyst at SustainAbility. From 2007 to 2008, they were an Analyst at Corporate Executive Board, and from 2006 to 2007, they were a Public Relations at Fenton. Sophie Waskow also worked for the NY City Council from 2003 to 2006 in various capacities, including Campaign Worker and Constituent Services Manager.

Sophie Waskow Rifkin attended The Brearley School from 1991 to 2003. Sophie Waskow then went on to pursue an A.B. in English from Brown University from 2003 to 2007. In 2010, they completed their MPA in Sustainability Management from The George Washington University. In October 2014, they obtained their GRI G4 Sustainability Reporting Certification from ERM.
