Alexander Kropotov

Alexander Kropotov is a seasoned Hardware Research Engineer at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center since October 2020, with a robust background in hardware design and engineering. Prior roles include Senior Hardware Engineer at Edgecortix, Senior HLS/RTL Design Engineer at ZoTech, and Leading FPGA Design Engineer at both Beamr and Transas. Kropotov's experience spans nearly three decades, having worked in various capacities at established companies such as Mentor Graphics and Alcatel-Lucent. Alexander holds a Master’s degree with honors in Electrical Engineering and has completed postgraduate studies focused on the application of computer systems in ultrasonic measurements from the Baltic State Technical University "VOENMEH."
