James Rodewald

James Rodewald has extensive experience in the fields of sports and publishing. At Bard College since June 2015, Rodewald serves as both Goalkeeper Trainer for the Women's Soccer team and Editor in the Publications Department. An established author, Rodewald has contributed to "American Spirit: An Exploration of the Craft Distilling Revolution" since August 2012. Previously, Rodewald worked as Drinks Editor at Gourmet from March 1998 to October 2009, where notable achievements included launching the Drinks column and overseeing various cocktail features. Additionally, Rodewald spent 12 years at Sports Illustrated, progressing from Assistant to Chief of Reporters, and held the position of Online Editor at Outside Magazine from 1994 to 1996. Educational credentials include degrees from Bard College and the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
