Jawad Malik

Jawad Malik is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in the financial services sector. Currently serving as the Global Chief Information Officer at Barings since March 2021, Jawad has previously held key roles such as CIO for Investment Management & Corporate Technology at The Hartford from July 2013 to March 2021, and Head of Financial Risk Technology at ING from May 2006 to July 2013. Additional experience includes serving as Head of IT Development at Cendant from March 2003 to April 2006 and as AVP for Derivative Trading Platforms at Merrill Lynch from December 2000 to March 2003. Jawad Malik holds an MBA in Computer Information Systems and a BBA in Finance, both from Pace University.
