Paula Fessler Dnp

Paula Fessler DNP, MS, RN, FNP-BC currently serves as the Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer at Barnes-Jewish Hospital since September 2023. Prior to this role, Paula Fessler was the Chief Nursing Officer at UNC Health from January 2022 to August 2023 and held the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Nurse Executive at Westchester Medical Center from December 2018 to December 2021. Additionally, Paula Fessler contributed as a Board Member for the American Academy Of Emergency Nurse Practitioner while serving as Vice President of the Emergency Medicine Service Line at Northwell Health from January 2015 to January 2019. Earlier in the career, Paula Fessler was the Director of Emergency Medicine Advance Practice Providers at the University of Rochester Medical Center from 2005 to 2015. An accomplished scholar, Paula Fessler is currently pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice at the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing at Case Western Reserve University and holds multiple degrees, including a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Rochester and a Master’s in Family Practice Nursing from Duke University.
