Christopher Johnson is the Chief Digital Officer at Bass Pro Shops. Christopher was recruited to Bass Pro Shops from Wolverine Worldwide in February 2020. Christopher was given the opportunity to work directly for its legendary founder, Johnny Morris, to define and execute the company’s Omni Digital strategy. In less than a year, they developed a strategy supported by a project portfolio that drove immediate revenue growth and set the stage for long term, healthy and sustainable profitability. Their over 20 years of digital commerce experience has provided him with the tools to identify “low-hanging fruit” that will immediately impact the business.

Christopher Johnson has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing Strategy from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business, a Master of Science (MS) in Information System Management from Lawrence Technological University, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Telecommunications Management from Michigan State University. Christopher also has certifications from Google as a Google Qualified Advertising Professional (GAP) and from the Project Management Institute as a Project Management Professional (PMP). In addition, they have a certification from Stanford University in Stanford Advanced Project Management.

Christopher Johnson reports to Johnny Morris, Founder & CEO. Christopher Johnson works with Baloo Eledath - Chief Information Officer, Kevin Maliszewski - Chief Financial Officer, and Phil Graves - Chief Sustainability Officer.
