Daniel Sluder, P.E. is a Nuclear Safety Engineer and Experiment Engineer at Idaho National Laboratory since November 2018, with a focus on diverse nuclear operations and research leadership. Previous experience includes serving as a Content Coordinator at Metaculus, collaborating with researchers to forecast the COVID-19 pandemic, and holding the position of NGFP Fellow at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, where project management and risk assessment were key responsibilities. Daniel has a solid academic foundation with a Doctor of Philosophy in Nuclear Engineering in progress at North Carolina State University, as well as Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Physics and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Idaho State University. Additional roles have included research assistantships and teaching positions, demonstrating a commitment to education and innovation in engineering and physics.
