Sheena Amin

Director, UKTV Venture at BBC Studios

Sheena joined the BBC Studios Executive Committee in July 2020 as part of the BBC Senior Leadership Advisor Programme. She is responsible for running UKTV Ventures, UKTV’s media for equity fund which invests into innovative consumer start-ups and helps them grow and scale through the power of TV advertising. Sheena has led investments into and taken Board positions at a number of start-ups. She began her career as a venture capitalist investing into high growth technology businesses at Summit Partners and has since held senior positions within the TMT sector, including heading up commercial partnerships at Dixons Carphone and leading business development at Virgin Media. Sheena served on the Board of Young Enterprise as a Trustee of the charity for eight years. She also founded and ran UniVentures, a graduate recruitment and marketing business.
