Rosie Garthwaite is an executive producer at BBC World Service Eye Investigations and the founder of Mediadante, an award-winning independent production company focused on films about the Middle East. They produced the multi award-winning documentary *The Workers Cup*, which premiered at Sundance in 2017, and developed the International Emmy-award winning film *Escape from Isis*, which gained significant attention in 2015. Rosie, who has a background as a British army officer, authored the award-winning book *How To Avoid Being Killed in a War Zone*, published in 2011. They hold a Master’s degree in Ancient and Modern History from Oxford University.
