Kim Turik has extensive experience in the field of property assessment and analysis, currently serving as Deputy Assessor for Lower Mainland Residential at BC Assessment since July 2000, where responsibilities have included assessment legal and appeals, policy service design, training development, and delivery. Prior roles at BC Assessment included Senior Appraiser and Appraiser, focusing on residential and ICI appraisal in Vancouver. Kim's career began as a Research Officer at BC Assessment, providing research and analysis to management. Previously, experience includes work as an Analyst at Urbanics Consultants Ltd., conducting market feasibility studies for major retailers, and as a Researcher at Colliers International, preparing market studies for commercial real estate. Kim holds a Diploma in Urban Land Economics from The University of British Columbia, an MA in Geography from the University of Toronto, and a BA in Geography from The University of British Columbia.
