Sishir Subedi is an experienced researcher in the fields of bioinformatics and machine learning, currently serving as a Research Assistant in Machine Learning at BC Cancer since January 2022, focusing on genomic data and interpretable models. Prior experience includes working as a Bioinformatician at Houston Methodist, where Sishir designed pipelines for cancer assays and collaborated on clinical tools, and as a Research Assistant at Texas A&M University, developing machine learning methods for pathogen lifecycle modeling.
