Josephine Beyer

Josephine Beyer is a Research Associate II at Beam Therapeutics since December 2022, previously serving as a Research Associate in LNP Formulation Science. Prior experience includes working as a Process Development Technician at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard from June 2022 to December 2022 and as a Pharmacy Intern at Carilion Clinic between December 2020 and June 2022. Josephine also gained research experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Virginia Tech's Protein Signaling Domains Laboratory, focusing on the biochemical functions of proteins and the impact of genetic mutations. Josephine participated in the Fralin Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship at The Fralin Life Sciences Institute in the summer of 2021 and worked as a restaurant employee at Tropical Smoothie Cafe from August 2020 to January 2021. Josephine holds a Bachelor's degree in Nanomedicine from Virginia Tech, earned in 2022.
