Sally Lake

Sally Lake is a qualified actuary with over 15 years' experience working in the finance and insurance industries. Sally is currently Group Finance Director at Beazley, a leading international specialist insurer.

Sally started their career as an actuarial assistant at PwC, where they specialised in pensions M&A. Sally then moved to Lane Clark & Peacock LLP, where they focused on reserving for Lloyds and Med Mal clients.

Sally has a strong track record in delivering results and driving change. Sally has played a key role in several major projects at Beazley, including the successful launch of the company's new Solvency II framework and the implementation of IFRS 17.

Sally Lake's educational career began at Roundhay School in Leeds, where they completed their GCSEs and A levels. Sally then went on to study mathematics at the University of Warwick, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree. After working in the actuarial profession for a number of years, they became a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries and also achieved the qualification of Chief Actuary (Non-Life with Lloyds) PC.

Sally Lake reports to Adrian Cox, CEO. They are on a team with Richard Montminy - Group Head, Property, Bob Quane - Chief Underwriting Officer, and Beth Diamond - Group Head, Claims.
