Rafael Reis

Rafael Reis serves as President of the Instituto Nacional de Proteção de Dados (INPD) since January 2022, while also leading Digital Innovation, Technology, and Intellectual Property Law at Becker Direito Empresarial since August 2019. In addition, Rafael coordinates the Postgraduate Program in Data, AI, and High-Performance Legal Practice at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná, a role held since July 2021. As a member of the advisory council at Habitat Senai since June 2020 and a Certified Member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) since March 2019, Rafael has established expertise in privacy and data protection, holding the CIPP/E Certification. Rafael has also been Director at Imprime Adesivos since June 2016. Educationally, Rafael is pursuing a Doctorate in Law at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná, with previous academic credentials including a Master's in Law and an LLM in Corporate Law.
