Chris Ikei

Chris Ikei currently serves as Vice President of R&D Systems & Software at BD, a role that began in December 2022, overseeing systems engineering and application software development for hemodynamic patient monitoring platforms within the Advanced Patient Monitoring business unit. Prior to this, Chris Ikei held various leadership positions at Edwards Lifesciences from November 2011 to December 2022, including Sr. Director of Engineering and Senior Manager of R&D. Earlier experience includes serving as R&D Technical Lead at CINTRON MEDICAL CORP, where Chris Ikei directed product development projects, and as R&D Engineer at REFRACTEC INC, focusing on device enhancements for ophthalmic applications. Chris Ikei's educational background includes an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, an MS in Biomedical Engineering from UC Irvine, and a BSEE from Loyola Marymount University.
