Jim Knudstrup

Jim Knudstrup is a Software Engineer at Beezwax Datatools, Inc. since January 2023 and a Lead Application Developer at MicroTone Guitars since December 2019, specializing in the development and maintenance of internal tooling, mobile, and web applications using Node.js. Previously, Jim held the position of Full Stack Engineer at Nebula Genomics, where implementation of new features spanned both the front-end and the back-end. Earlier experience includes a role as Collaborator/Hacker at Cognitive Technology Group, supporting brain-computer interface projects, and a Research Assistant focused on creative problem-solving techniques at UC Berkeley. Jim co-founded Collectio.co, leveraging backend development skills to create a platform for collectors, and began a career in intelligence analysis as a Signals Intelligence specialist in the US Army. Jim holds a Bachelor of Arts in Cognitive Science from the University of California, Berkeley and an Associate of Arts in Korean Language and Literature from the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center.
